Student Chamber Music Programs

JUNIOR CHAMBER ARTISTS SIGHTREADING WORKSHOPS

 

Spend an afternoon exploring great music and practicing your chamber music skills! Pianists, string and woodwind players in grades 8-12 are invited to join JCA. Four weekend-afternoons each semester, participants meet to read music in small ensembles led by Spokane Symphony musicians, who play with the students.  JCA participants receive complimentary tickets to Spokane Symphony concerts.

JCA PLUS

Join other students in a challenging and fun chamber music experience!  Participants are arranged by playing level into chamber music groups and receive one hour of coaching with a faculty member before the first three JCA Workshops of the semester.  Groups perform in a recital following the fourth Workshop of the semester.  The JCA Plus ensembles also play in master classes for Spokane Symphony members or other local professionals.  JCA Plus tuition includes participation in the Junior Chamber Artists Workshops and complimentary tickets to Spokane Symphony concerts.
